When the Moon Beckons.

March is a funky kind of month.

It isn’t a full month of winter nor is it a full month of spring, it is both and depending on which way Mother Nature turns is anyone’s guess.

For me, March is the month that my son chose to come into my life. He was determined to be an April baby by my OBGYN and later discovered, by his weight and size, he should have been a February baby, so March he chose.
And as he would have it, March 16, 1993, the day Mother Nature decided to pummel us with a nor'easter that dumped 22 inches of snow on Pittsfield in 24 hours.
A storm that packed winds of up to 70 miles per hour, which helped create 10-foot snowdrifts, Alex surprised us with big brown eyes, 22 inches of length, 10lbs of weight and a Penis.
Yup, Alexandra became Alexander and that, my friends is how March rolls.

March this time around, has begun with a full moon, which coincidentally corresponds with the Astrological sign of Pisces, which is represented by the Moon in Tarot.

March begins with a full moon this time around and just like March, the moon is a mystery to which we can only observe, never control.

The Moon in Tarot tells us to pay attention to things that go bump in the night.

Yes, there is danger associated with this card and if the Moon and the Tower decide to combine with the 10 of Swords I am sure to lock myself in a windowless room and pull a blanket over my head until the apocalypse passes, but for now, it is just the Moon in moody Pisces we have to think about.

The Full Moon in March speaks of the final rest before seed time. This is the time to be still. Listen to those voices around us.
The one no one else but you hear. 
The voices in your head that never shut the hell up when you are trying to sleep voices.

Are those voices kind?

Loving and healing?

Encouraging and calming?
