Jennifer Belanger
Intuitive Practitioner & Spirit Medium
Based in the foothills of Western Massachusetts in Pittsfield, I have been working professionally with intuitive and spiritual practices for more than a decade. My private practice brings together tarot, Lenormand, spirit communication, mediumship, ancestral awareness, and intuitive guidance for thoughtful, sensitive people navigating grief, life transitions, relationships, and deeper spiritual questions.
My work has grown through years of study, practice, and direct experience. My training has included Usui and Tibetan Reiki, Chios Energy Healing, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Craniosacral Therapy, tarot and cartomancy, mediumship, and spiritual practice. These studies have given me many different ways of listening and perceiving, but the heart of my work has remained remarkably simple: creating a thoughtful space where people can slow down, listen deeply, and recognize what they already know at a deeper level.
I don't approach intuitive work as a performance, and I don't believe that a reading should take away someone's ability to make their own choices.
"Guidance can help us see what is before us, but we are always the ones who choose what comes next."
That belief is central to everything I do.
A Conversation, Not a Prediction
I often describe my sessions as intuitive conversations rather than simply readings.
Tarot is one of the primary ways this conversation speaks.
The cards offer a visual and symbolic language that can reflect the inner landscape of a person's life. They can help bring patterns into focus, illuminate what may be difficult to see from inside a situation, and create a different perspective on the choices in front of us.
We cannot move forward with clarity until we recognize where we are — and who we are becoming.
A tarot session is therefore not about handing someone a predetermined future. It is about creating a space for reflection, recognition, and meaningful conversation.
Alongside tarot, a session may include intuitive perception, spiritual communication, ancestral presence, or other forms of insight that arise naturally during our time together. I allow the session to unfold rather than forcing it into a particular format.
What comes forward is shaped by your questions, your circumstances, your readiness, and what is most supportive in the present moment.
Bare Bones Lenormand
Teaching has become an important part of my work as well.
I am the creator and author of Bare Bones Lenormand, Books One and Two, a practical approach to learning the Lenormand system through its essential meanings, structure, and storytelling language.
Bare Bones Lenormand grew from my own years of working with the cards and from recognizing that many students become overwhelmed by the amount of information surrounding traditional Lenormand instruction.
My goal was to return to the bones of the system — to make it clear, practical, approachable, and usable.
I am currently developing an accompanying online Bare Bones Lenormand course, expanding the approach in the books into lessons and practical exercises designed to help students develop confidence in reading the cards for themselves.
For me, teaching and reading are connected.
I don't believe intuitive systems should make people dependent upon someone else to tell them what their cards mean.
I want people to develop their own relationship with the cards, their own understanding, and eventually, their own voice.
Spirit Communication & Mediumship
My work as a spirit medium is rooted in relationship rather than spectacle.
For those who seek a connection with someone who has died, I approach mediumship with respect for the tenderness, vulnerability, and love that often surround that experience.
Spirit communication may involve memories, personality, relationships, impressions, symbols, or other details that arise during a session. My role is to listen carefully and share what comes through with honesty and respect.
I do not believe grief should be rushed, fixed, or turned into a performance.
Sometimes the most meaningful part of a connection is simply the recognition that love, memory, and relationship can continue to have meaning even after physical life has changed.
Ancestry, Symbol & the Deeper Self
I am also deeply interested in the ways we carry the stories, patterns, wisdom, and unfinished questions of those who came before us.
Ancestral awareness can become part of a session when it is relevant and supportive. Sometimes what we are struggling with in the present has roots in family patterns, inherited expectations, old stories, or ways of understanding ourselves that have been passed down through generations.
Tarot and intuitive work can offer a way to look at those patterns without judgment.
The goal is not to become trapped by the past.
It is to understand it well enough to choose what comes next.
My Approach
I believe intuitive work is most valuable when it helps a person become more grounded, more discerning, and more connected to themselves.
I will never tell you that you must make a particular decision because the cards said so. I won't claim that your future is fixed or that you have no agency over what happens next.
Instead, I offer another perspective.
Sometimes that perspective comes through the cards. Sometimes it comes through intuitive perception. Sometimes it comes through spirit or ancestral awareness. And sometimes the most important insight emerges simply because you finally have the space to say something out loud and hear yourself clearly.
This is why I think of my work as a conversation.
The reading is not something being done to you.
It is something we explore together.
A Private Practice in Pittsfield & Beyond
I maintain a private professional practice in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, serving clients throughout the Berkshires, Western Massachusetts, and beyond.
Sessions are available in person, virtually, and by email, allowing me to work with people both locally and from other parts of the country.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with many people through moments of uncertainty, grief, transition, questioning, and change.
My practice has grown primarily through word of mouth, returning clients, and the relationships built through this work.
Client feedback is an important part of that history.
My Google Business Profile currently has 150+ client reviews, reflecting the experiences of people who have chosen to share their perspective on working with me.
I am grateful for every person who has trusted me with a piece of their story.
Why I Do This Work
I don't believe we come to intuitive work because we are weak or because we cannot make decisions for ourselves.
Often, we come because we are already asking important questions.
Something has changed.
Something no longer feels right.
Something is ending, beginning, or asking to be understood differently.
Sometimes we simply need another way to look at what is happening.
That is the space I hope to provide.
A place where you don't have to perform certainty.
A place where questions are welcome.
A place where intuition and reason can sit beside one another.
A place where you can listen without being told what you must hear.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced.
Meaningful change often begins with something very small — a moment of willingness, a breath of curiosity, a new question, or a choice to listen.
My role is not to tell you who you are or where your path must lead.
It is to walk beside you for a little while and help you see the path that is already unfolding.
Thank you for allowing me to walk beside you, wherever you are on your path.
